In The Army Of The Lord

 Today we proudly celebrate the services surrendered by our military and armed forces. In my short lifetime I have not had to experience World War first hand, But history allows me to acknowledge the fact that many before us have sacrificed their lives for the greater good of our country.  As a minister when I read my bible  to prepare me for the  "Spiritual War" that is upon us today as God raises up a new army for a time such as this. As I prepare thru prayer for combat, Sometimes  I  get discouraged because at times we are losing too many of the battles against the flesh and the principalities of evil.  We have horrible representation in high places (Government... National and Local) , Our school system is failing the next generation thru academics as well as protecting their lives while attending their institutes of learning      (Mass shootings, Violence, Sexual misconduct)  Everyday we turn to the news in every city in every state to find that a murder or act of crime has taken place. And on top of all that evil has found it's way into " The Spiritual Hospital " corrupting churches turning the  lost and hurt even farther away from Christ. As dismayed as it may look or seem God's Word encourages and strengthens us by re connecting us to examples of soldiers who He raised up in their time just like He has done in our time.  Moses, Joshua, David, Jeremiah just to name a few familiar men that God used to conquer over His adversaries. I immediately realize that because He is "No respective of a person" (Romans 2:11) that the same victory that was promised to them is also promised to me. To my fellow soldiers in the army of the Lord.... stand steadfast, continue to acknowledge God as the head of your life, use prayer as your main weapon, and stay connected to like minded individuals who  have made up their mind to "Fight the god fight" until Our Redeemer returns. Remember with everything going on around you, You are already victorious.... SO CONTINUE TO SERVE, SACRIFICE, AND STAY IN LINE SOLDIER!!!!!    WE ALREADY WON ... BECAUSE.... WE ON GOD'S SIDE!
